I've been playing this game since day 1 too. But those shorter story line segments are doable and it's nice. I was pretty sad because the voice acting work for this game is superb. This is the first game where I regretfully had to press Skip because the narration takes way too long for something not much of substance that you can just understand from skimming alone. But too bad it doesn't take long till you get to the point of those one sentence story portions again. I'm not too hopeful for the future of this game because of the 5 step change and problems cropping up with Colosseum but I hope it stays because even with all the bad it's still a decent experience if you have a solid group to play with.Īnd with the story, it does get better with the new Reality Arc. Game is going to get fusion soon - what they called it (US and Asia) and get integrated because of the lack of players in certain time slots. The event before the current one (Dodo) was absolute ass for rearguard players because of the difficulty level.

You had early Chapel event (same in early JP days) where you can't literally do it cause it was too hard and only whales played. They changed some stuff (like banners becoming 5 steps instead of the normal 3). There are many things that will put off people in this game, and it's understandable why. Being able to get SR stuff for your role is too important in this game if you want to achieve something. That's why being able to buy a paid Nightmare and using RUS (equivalent of those monthly pack things) is essential. Nightmares (summons) are too strong and vital for any content and there are very few alternatives that work decently. I understand why most people would hate this, because progression is only tied to gacha. You stay here for the guilds and nothing else.

I knew what I was going in to since I played the JP version before back in the day and actually did my research.
